Your Role
As Revenue Care Specialist in our Air Logistics Department, you will be responsible for the correct and appropriate revenue and cost input activities associated with our customer transactions. You will execute pre-invoice file audits to ensure proper cost entry and invoice entry files are completed and will generate invoice documentation for our customers. Alongside our Customer Care Specialists, you will ensure that customer credit information is up to date along with our customer quotations. You will also provide support in systematic functions and tasks associated with confirming expected Gross Profit (GP) at a transactional level, along with month-end closings.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage/Oversee related cost entry and revenue entry tasks through Business Process Automation (BPA)
- Coordinate with Operational Care Centers (OCC) and Customer Care Locations (CCL) for cost and revenue topics
- Review Gross Profit on file, trade-lane and customer levels
- Immediately report problems, invoicing disputes, or credit check issues to customer care teams, supervisors, managers, divisional managers, or branch managers
- Monitor payment behavior of customers in collaboration with finance teams(Account Receivable)
- Handle daily Forwarding Sub Ledger (FSL) activities including month-end closing
- Work with Sales and Customer Care teams on credit limit adjustments
- Lead CASS challenge resolution and work on improvement processes
Your Skills And Experiences
- Experience and knowledge within logistics forwarder (preferably Air Logistics)
- General finance, accounting, or logistics with an interest in working with transport management systems and statistical figures/data
- An understanding of general accounting principles with strong analytical skills
- Understanding of financial systems and excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and specifically Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, great problem-solving skills and perseverance – you’ll need to be able to get to the root cause of any issues
- A team player with good organisational skills; you’ll be able to work at pace and meet deadlines
- Focus on customer service with the ability to deliver in a time-sensitive manner
