A new position has arisen in the incident analysis team. You will be part of a team of two who investigate, manage and report on Errors for the GI business, to include regulatory incidents and CPC errors. Finance experience is essential to be considered for this position, as is fluent English. This is a permanent position based at our following offices: Dublin, Cork, and Galway with a hybrid work arrangement.

When things go wrong which result in a breach of regulation and/or an impact on our customers, the incident analyst will be responsible for investigating the issue to understand how and why it occurred, understand the scope of the issue and the impact on the customer(s) and to work with the business to agree and implement solutions to resolve the issue or close the identified gaps and where required engage with customers to arrange remediation/compensation . The incident analyst oversees the investigation to closure of regulatory incidents within required deadlines and will be involved in reporting and trend analysis.

  • To support the First line team to manage Errors for the GI business
  • Support/Co-ordinate the management of errors; systemic regulatory breaches and material errors from investigation to closure.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in various teams (IT, Business, Operations, Underwriting, Pricing, 2nd line compliance) to analyse, investigate and remediate identified CPC errors, systemic regulatory breaches, and material errors.
  • Communicate to relevant senior stakeholders on all open CPC errors, systemic regulatory breaches, and material errors.
  • Support and provide training on errors management activities.
  • Perform robust Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the true cause of CPC errors / regulatory incidents. Work with IT to perform system RCAs and solution finding.
  • Oversee and support remedial actions and customer communications necessary for remediation of CPC Errors, systemic regulatory breaches, and material errors.
  • Engage with compliance to ensure compliance risk events are identified and managed within regulatory timelines.
  • Report weekly on CPC errors and systemic regulatory breaches.
  • Provide challenge in a supportive and constructive manner
  • Participate in projects to improve the efficiency of the First Line Risk team
