- Drive business development to the edge, measured in customer satisfaction, customer retention and customer exposure
- Be the linking pin in between different entities within DeLaval and external stakeholders like the dealer organisation
- Initiate business development plan, drive and execute activities following the business plan and overall company mission, vision and chosen strategy per customer segment
- Contribute proactively in the local Market area Vision, Mission and Strategy development
Key Deliverables
- Create business development plans in particular for VMS and automation
- High level of customer satisfaction, both internal and external as measured via CX tool and in market share
- Proactive approach in following market requirements, build upon market segmentation in conjunction with sales and solution management team
- Based on the business plan and budget the Sales Coach/Business Developer is responsible and accountable for his own challenging budget.
- Academic education level in business management and administration or similar backed up with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a (senior) sales position(s).
- General management experience (>3 years) in a multinational B2B environment in food, machinery or animal husbandry industry
- Strong communicator, experience with value-based selling principles
- Proficient knowledge and experience (>3 years), demonstrating leadership working with Sales, Farm management and Business economy
- Practical experience and interaction working with customers, active sales, people management and excellent coaching skills
- Excellent financial analytic skills and financial key ratios understanding
