Red D are recruiting a Sales & Events Manager on behalf of a luxury hotel set in Co. Laois. This renowned property, with its award-winning European spa and range of on-site activities, offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional.

Key Objectives
 

  • Drive sales in national and international markets, managing key accounts in agreed segments.
  • Oversee day-to-day events coordination, working closely with the events team.
  • Maximise sales of hotel rooms and conference space, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage selected corporate accounts and develop new business relationships.
  • Develop strategies to meet monthly forecasts and build a future pipeline in target markets.
  • Attend trade events to represent the hotel and expand market presence.
     

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Manage key accounts across all revenue streams, focusing on rooms, meetings, events, and more.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure retention and growth.
  • Lead and mentor the Weddings/Events team, ensuring effective management and performance.
  • Develop new accounts in target regions and segments to ensure continued business growth.
  • Manage client site inspections and communicate key insights to the internal team to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their sales skills.
  • Oversee business development strategies to source and identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at internal and external events as a senior member of the sales team.
