Description:
MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Sales Manager for our Google Cloud team. As a Sales Manager, you will manage the day-to-day activities and performance of a sales team to ensure their success and the overall performance of the team.
What will you do?
- Successfully drive your teams to meet and exceed sales quotas and client expectations.
- Leverage data and analytics to monitor and drive your team’s performance, identify achievements as well as areas of focus
- Hold regular team meetings/huddles to ensure alignment of team performance and goals
- Identify best practices and makes recommendations to senior leadership to improve team and program performance and identify potential areas for growth
- Help identify sales trends and customer feedback to improve client products and processes
- Support the sales team by ensuring that all internal systems and tools (expense reporting, time card, etc.) are up to date
Skills & Qualifications:
- Direct and B2B sales experience required, leadership experience preferred
- Must be competitive and be willing to drive, push and exceed goals
- 2 or more years of management/supervisory experience or equivalent in a telesales environment.
- Superior communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus
- Solid understanding of cloud-based technology and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive performance
- Must have an adaptive management style and the ability to work at micro and macro levels
- Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment
