Description:

TH Daniels are working in partnership with a leading global manufacturer of valve products to recruit a Regional Sales Manager – Europe – Downstream & Petrochemical business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Europe to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the valve products industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Growth: Drive new business development while growing existing accounts, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights to senior management to aid in decision-making.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest valve products, industry standards, and technologies to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Travel: Regularly travel within Northern Europe to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and conduct business meetings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and manage pricing strategies to ensure profitable deals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the valve products industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Europe.
  • Proficiency in English and knowledge of additional Northern European languages is a plus.
  • Experience selling into Downstream Petrochemical markets/industries
