Description:
TH Daniels are working in partnership with a leading global manufacturer of valve products to recruit a Regional Sales Manager – Europe – Downstream & Petrochemical business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Europe to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the valve products industry.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Drive new business development while growing existing accounts, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights to senior management to aid in decision-making.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest valve products, industry standards, and technologies to provide expert guidance to customers.
- Travel: Regularly travel within Northern Europe to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and conduct business meetings.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and manage pricing strategies to ensure profitable deals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the valve products industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel frequently within Europe.
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of additional Northern European languages is a plus.
