Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Delivery Manager to lead our SAP projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all SAP projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of SAP projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s), including risk management, issue resolution, and project reporting.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure effective collaboration and project progress.
- Oversee the project budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are in place and adhered to, leading to the successful delivery of SAP solutions.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and support to the project team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry best practices, advising on the adoption of new features or tools as appropriate.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP project management, including successful delivery of large-scale SAP implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP products, solutions, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with and influence senior executives.
- Experience in change management and driving business transformation through SAP solutions.
- Flexibility to travel as required by the project needs.
