Scala Developer

Description:

In this role, you will join our team developing a web-based application that enables real-time structuring, calculation and launch of structured products, calculating tradable prices in real-time. You will be part of the IT Development department, responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining key business applications and services on a highly specialised investment product management platform. You will work closely with business to gather and understand requirements, and deliver high quality solutions.

Responsibilities and duties:

• You will work on front to back processes, contributing to software and architectural design decisions for the financial structured product industry.
• You will contribute to software and architectural design decisions.
• You will pride yourself of being able to write efficient, reliable, clean and thoroughly tested code, suitable to run in a continuous integration and deployment environment.

You are a really passionate Senior Scala Developer, an independent team player who has preferably experience in consultancy.

Must have hands on experience with:

• Scala
• Kafka platform
• Akka framework

Nice to have:

• Experience with event driven architecture and stream processing
• Experience with Kubernetes (from a developer point of view no devops skill required)
• Experience with Kafka Streams library

You are also:

• Fluent in English and used to work in an International environment
