St. James’s Hospital is seeking a Scheduled Care Performance and Improvement Lead who will support, review and monitor scheduled care activity while assessing performance against KPIs and providing a key reporting function internally and externally. The post holder will work closely with clinical, directorate, corporate, support services and external national teams to support and enable scheduled care services in St. James’s Hospital.

Reporting to the Operational Lead for Scheduled and Unscheduled Care, the post holder will monitor the performance of the Hospital in terms of scheduled care activity. Ensuring the hospital is providing access to scheduled care for patients within the most appropriate time frame while working to deliver against National Standards and targets.

The Scheduled Care Performance and Improvement Lead will play a critical role within the Hospital by acting as the NTPF liaison and Directorate support for scheduled care across the Hospital and externally via the Hospital’s extensive insourcing and outsourcing initiatives and programmes. This encompasses the oversight and monitoring of all scheduled care processes.
