Senior Analyst

Description:

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in SQL and system design for the maintenance and enhancement of the Bank's CCR reporting solution. You will work with the CCR technical team helping to develop and deploy key deliverables around CCR. These enhancements to the CCR reporting solution may arise due to new CCR regulations issued by the Central Bank of Ireland or due to upstream system changes / process improvement initiatives undertaken by the Bank. The enhancements will encompass code change initiatives from requirements and inception, to technical implementation, testing and delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Play an active part in the development and delivery of multiple changes to the Central Credit Register (CCR) reporting solution.
• Review existing SQL code to seeking opportunities for process improvement.
• Design enhancements to the SQL software to meet new business requirements.
• Use best practice techniques to write SQL software to deliver the enhancements required.
• Undertake design, coding and testing activities within agreed timescales along with completing supporting documentation.
• Monitor system changes post implementation to ensure the performance matches our expectations.

2+ years' experience in a technical SQL role is required.
