Description:
The successful candidate will establish, through hands learning a deep understanding of the various technologies and integration points between solutions that we manage. They will also understanding the systems used by partner teams both upstream and downstream of our systems, both enterprise and local solutions.
The candidate will help us to develop and improve the solutions in line with the business and regulatory needs across the Global Customer Meeting Services countries. This role will build trusted relationships within the IT team, SMEs, and stakeholders and play a key role in the development of the various technologies used within the Customer Meetings space.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in the ongoing development of the CMS SaaS solution.
- Work with the teams and vendors to understand business requirements and determine action plans to deliver against them. Execute IT tasks according to the project plan.
- Work with the different Lilly affiliates to understand local needs from a privacy, legal and compliance perspective and determine how solutions can meet those needs.
- Understand differences between our current meetings tools e.g. Mercury, Cvent, Docusign and opportunities for future integration or retirement (for legacy tools).
- Become an SME on the solutions capabilities, advocating the technology offering and identifying additional opportunities for adoption.
- Partner with Business SMEs to understand and be able to represent the meetings management process and other associated processes (i.e. SMMP)
- Collaborate with other Lilly IT teams to determine the technical approach for integrations with technologies (e.g. AODS, HCP Profile etc).
- Advocate an Agile delivery approach, where appropriate, focusing on MVP.
- Represent the CMS IT team and Lilly IT standards/processes on project meetings to drive towards desired outcomes.
- Ensure the CMS & T&E IT team as a whole and specifically the Cvent implementation project is compliant with Lilly standards.
- Play an active role in the maintenance and development of meeting tools.
- Support other initiatives within the IT team as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Information Technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology field
- Exposure to SaaS Vendors and concepts
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders
- Project management experience (Agile experience preferred)
