We are working on a unique opportunity for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary in Dublin. Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Group Function. This position sits on the Financial Performance team and reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. The successful candidate will work on both London and Dublin teams, with the role’s base being Dublin. If you are ready for an interesting challenge, this is a role for you.

About the Senior Associate role

The Senior Associate position calls for a driven and motivated actuary with experience in capital planning.

Responsibilities for the role will include (but not be limited to):

• Partnering business units.
• Capital planning and performance analysis.
• Stakeholder communication.
• Solvency II, IFRS 17 and liquidity projections.
• Financial performance assessment and analysis.

Actuarial skills required

The role would suit a nearly or recently qualified actuary with experience in a similar role. Candidates must have a Life background and ideally have experience of the following:

• IFRS 17 or Solvency II.
• Excellent IT skills (Power BI an advantage)
• Capital planning/analysis.
• Communicating cross-functionally.
