Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advise a range of clients from banks, developers, state agencies, corporates, multinationals and both private equity and institutional investors on complex real estate transactions, spanning the Built Environment, Energy, Healthcare and Technology.
- Advise both domestic landlord and tenants and international investors and tenants on landlord and tenant issues.
- Provide specialist advice on all commercial leasing issues such as rent reviews, break options, tenant concessions, dilapidations, rights of first refusal, lease renewals, and options for expansion.
- Work closely with colleagues in other divisions throughout the firm including Corporate, Financial Services, Construction, Commercial Litigation and Tax.
- Offer a superior level of client service nurturing and developing those relationships whilst delivering practical, commercial legal advice and solutions.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor.
- 3 - 8 years PQE from a top or mid-tier firm (or smaller boutique property practice).
- Commercial Real Estate experience mandatory.
- Strong academic background.
- Proven ability to successfully prioritise and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Proven client relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team, but also self-motivated.
