Senior Automation Engineer

Description:

You will work with the existing development teams to improve and maintain current test suites and CI/CD pipelines as well as develop same for new projects.

An expert Automation Engineer that will help to maintain and improve our existing project automation pipelines.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject area.

• You should have experience in web service testing tools –postman, cucumber

• You should have some experience with UI automation - Cypress

• You should have experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines -Jenkins

• You should have experience working on Agile projects.

• You should have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• You should be very motivated and self-directed.

• Create automated functional, smoke and regression test cases.

• Implement test cases adhering to automation procedures, processes, and standard methodologies.

• Work with project team to clearly understand requirements and test data needs.

• Contribute to project schedule on QA tasks and balances work accordingly to meet timelines.

• Participate in formal reviews of application designs, business and functional requirements.

• Identify functional tests to be used for regression tests and gain consensus from project team.

• Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions.

• Ability to escalate technical and functional issues in an effective manner and efficiently resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the customer.
