ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.
The company provide a wide range of services including Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and more. There are roles available in various locations across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Analysis and Design: Conduct structural analysis and design across bridge projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Business Development: Drive Business development and manage tender bids for professional services contracts.
- Design Development: Collaborate with project teams to refine structural designs, integrating client specifications and architectural concepts.
- Project Management: Manage Medium and large-sized projects, ensuring quality, timelines and budgets are delivered.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilise engineering principles to devise cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.
- Quality Control: Maintain stringent quality assurance measures, meticulously reviewing design calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaboration: Forge close partnerships with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and effective communication of design ideas.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for project teams and clients.
- Continuous Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and structural engineering best practices.
Requirements for Success:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Bridge Engineer status with a recognised professional engineering body or in progress.
- Demonstrated experience in structural design for bridge projects, ideally within Ireland.
- 10 years + experience as a Bridge/Senior Bridge Engineer
- Proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with pertinent design codes.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork aptitude.
