In this position you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in sourcing third-party vendors and managing contracts and be a part of a dynamic environment where innovation and growth are encouraged.
This role will be an initial 12 month contract.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Promote the Procurement and Contracts Management function within our company by engaging actively with business stakeholders.
- Identify upcoming projects or spending for procurement engagement through proactive stakeholder engagement.
- Negotiate expiring contracts in advance, either through tendering exercises or direct negotiation.
- Coordinate and manage the tendering process for new or existing products/services, including evaluating proposals, negotiating with vendors, and driving contractual negotiations to conclusion.
- Ensure all contractual documentation is in place and fully executed, along with robust SLAs.
- Maintain centralised storage of all tendering and contractual documentation, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with key stakeholders to strategize on procurement initiatives for new and existing vendors.
- Drive value through analysis of spend data to identify potential cost savings or vendor consolidation opportunities.
- Liaise with Third Party Risk Management to ensure due diligence is completed before onboarding new vendors.
- Collaborate with Legal, Data and Privacy, and Information Security teams to align on contractual requirements.
- Assist with oversight of contract monitoring activities for vendors and maintain process documents and internal standard operating procedures.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Relevant third level degree
- Significant post-qualification experience in Procurement and Contracts Management.
- Excellent knowledge of end-to-end Procurement processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Highly motivated and organised with a focus on continuous improvement.
