Responsibilities

The tasks assigned to the successful individual may change over time, in line with the needs of the company. These may include but are not limited to the following: -

• Scheduling and executing own workload in line with company objectives
• Prepare technical reports for individual, corporate and public authority review
• Prepare preliminary design, tender and construction documents
• Undertake structural analysis and design of building elements
• Prepare civil engineering infrastructure designs including SUDS of new and existing developments
• Maintain client relations through providing technical support to both client and project teams
• Provide building regulation compliance support for variations on live projects
• Coordinate & resolve technical queries as they arise
• Survey, review and prepare land registry and scheme maps
• Collate and review site information to enable production of accurate as built documents

Qualifications

· Honours Degree qualification in Civil Engineering (NFQ Level 8 minimum)

· Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, TEKLA Structural Designer and usual Microsoft applications

· A working knowledge and thorough understanding of the building regulations & standards

· Experience in detailing and specification of public work projects, residential, commercial and industrial projects
