Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

 

Description:

Looking for an energetic, hard charging individual able to keep up in an exciting and fast moving security operations team that is engaged in several high profile security projects to enhance Fidelity’s security posture and prevent data leakage. The candidate will be immersed in a fast-paced environment addressing a rapidly changing threat landscape, working with numerous security professionals. The successful candidate will bring together, document, and review complex DLP requirements, implement detections across multiple platforms to identify and mitigate against data ex-filtration violations within various pathways.

  • Knowledge of cyber security threats and incident response.
  • Knowledge of insider threats and DLP a benefit.
  • Knowledge of network/cloud technologies and concepts.
  • Knowledge of endpoint, network and cloud security controls.
  • Familiar with policy-based detections using regular expression and pattern matching.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues across multiple platforms taking a logical approach to understand root cause and potential resolution.
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL, Splunk, Kusto or other languages to perform risk based analysis on detections and identify high risk activity.
  • Solutions focused and willingness to find alternatives to solving complex issues.
  • Ability to work across multi-functional teams following agile practices.
  • Knowledge of modern scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell) a benefit but not required.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or in lieu of:
  • One to three years of information security experience in government, military, law enforcement, or financial services sector
  • Industry certifications in cyber security incident management, such as , Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security + and other related credentials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong in problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects by prioritizing and taking a results oriented approach

  • Must be a quick learner and adapt to new tools and technology
  • Ability to step up to take the responsibility for a particular deliverable or issue.
  • Ability to deliver, implementation and perform analysis of Insider Threat detection, response and remediation technologies – unifying and standardizing Cybersecurity Insider Threat policies and practices across the enterprise.
  • Maintain high standards when it comes to documenting Insider Threat processes, detections and implementations.
  • Be instrumental in technology and policy implementation, tuning and oversight of Insider Threat processes across all insider threat technologies executed in the firm.
