Description:
AIB’s IRB Programme’s Definition of Default (DoD) Workstream has been established to ensure that information consumed by IRB Models is fit-for-purpose and aligned with AIBs Internal Policies and Regulatory expectations. The workstream combines the skillsets of data analysts, data modellers, business and credit risk expertise who collaboratively construct datasets for development of IRB models.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing, testing and quality assuring the historical datasets which support the Data Preparation phase of an IRB development
- Collaborating with business, credit, model development to agree strategies and approaches to qualify or remediate data.
- Input to / reviewing / testing the data change requests raised by the team for historical datasets and other data enablers.
- Developing processes/procedures and documentation of tasks undertaken which may be called upon to support the external inspection phase of IRB development
- Work with the workstream lead/line/project manager to prioritise tasks and ensure milestones are met against the programme plan.
- You will mentor and manage prioritisation and career development for junior analysis within the workstream.
What You Will Bring
- You are an experienced (3+ years) analyst who is savvy with large datasets, data analysis tools and methods for analysing and remediating data.
- You possess knowledge of how data analysis can drive credit risk approaches within financial institutions.
- You are a self-starter with the energy and drive to improve processes and solve problems under your own direction.
- You can build and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of technical business areas.
- Strong planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work to tight deadlines.
