Description:
The Senior Expert, Controlling GBU BLS is responsible for managing all Finance Control tasks for the BLS GBU. Partners with GBU/RBU Management, RBU Financial Control team and group functions on finance control tasks. Ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all financial reporting functions, and ensures the good control, good visibility and accurate data and messages providing to the Management

- Partner with the GBU President in driving the GBU financial performance
- Represent the GBU at Board level as required
- Financial control and management on GBU financial results
- Leads the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast of expense under GBU cost centers
- Reviews and monitors the actual expenses under GBU cost centers.
- Leads and reviews the costs back charging from each region to GBU cost centers, from method determination to the regular billing review and approval.
- Plans and monitors the costs on GBU internal projects.
- Leads the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast of GBU relative financial KPIs from all regions, jointly with the GBU and RBUs.
- Reviews and monitors the actual financial results and reports. Completes the financial analysis comparing to the budget and/or forecast, works out and proposes the improvement action plan to the management.
- The reports reviewed and monitored includes but not limited to Tagetik reports, GPR reports, Utilization reports, cost center reports, Sales Force reports etc.
- Reviews and monitors the trend of business acquisition, and other financial KPIs of near future and of mid- term periods, together with GBU/RBU leaders.
- Leads the period financial result review with GBU and RBU team leaders. Works out the financial analysis and report. And leads the reports for GBU and group management review.
- Leads the financial review on project budget in tendering stage as needed.
- Leads the financial risk review on TERA/PIRA and/or TFU reports, and provides comments on GBU level.
- Leads the project special review or audit on major projects regularly, or on projects with issue as required by GBU/RBUs.
- Completes the ad hoc report required by the management as needed.
- Leads the internal and external audit on GBU level.
- Leads and/or supports the financial portion on merge and acquisition projects as needed.
- Works closely with Corporate Controlling to ensure alignment with the GBU
- Leads GBU participation, roll-out and integration of corporate financial initiatives
- Undertake project financial deep dives as required

- Working knowledge of the complexities of a global company and ability to operate within a matrix environment in a project environment
- Must have strong technical financial skills and a comprehensive understanding of project business and cost accounting
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS
- ) accounting knowledge strongly desirable SAP experience as a plus
