Senior Financial Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for completion of monthly close process and related analysis and commentary as required.
  • Preparation of annual budget and work with senior leadership to monitor and control spend
  • Provide monthly variance analysis to actuals for management review.
  • Support Payroll, Accounts Payable & Purchasing function.
  • Ensure inventory is valued correctly and in line with Company policies.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Company’s annual financial statements and audits where required.
  • Involvement in budgeting & business planning; evaluating future business opportunities.
  • Participate in cross functional process improvement initiatives.

 

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified accountant ideally with 2/3 years PQE
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with senior leadership team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the organisation.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative approach to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
