Description:
This role provides an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of one of Bank of Ireland Group's key financial metrics
You will have the opportunity to develop presentations and reports for key stakeholders including senior finance management and external parties. It is a fantastic chance to build relationships with senior colleagues across the Group
Review and analyse the Group's monthly Net Interest Income and Net Interest Margin with additional periodic reporting to support the Group's annual and interim financial reporting process.
Support the forecasting and ICAAP processes for NII and NIM and any regulatory requests that may arise.
Review of the Group's monthly BCOF process.
Ensure all the team's financial controls operate effectively, while also implementing improvements to current methodologies and practices.
Support key finance related projects and initiatives as required.
You have fantastic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
You enjoy working as part of a close knit high performing team but also have a great ability to work on your own initiative
Strong attention to detail is essential for this role
You are comfortable delivering to tight reporting timeframes
Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
Working knowledge of the SAP BCS.
Strong appetite/evidence of process improvement
Knowledge of economics, accounting and banking sector
Proven capacity to meet challenging targets.
