The Senior Global Market Insights Analyst is responsible for developing the professional capability to support market intelligence needs for our business. You will be responsible for driving the market analysis efforts for the global commercial domain leveraging paid and public data sources in combination with deep business and industry expertise to shape our partner experience and drive sustainable profitable growth.
This role is critical in shaping commercial strategies (global, region and country). You will work collaboratively with the senior business leaders in the global business units and other analysts to define a strategic research agenda for the year. You will proactively analyze market, industry and product conditions, trends, and forecasts to help drive strategic decision-making and improve the DLL’s competitive position in the market. You will work closely with global business units, marketing and product management as the go to subject matter expert on current market, industry, product, and competitor activity.

Day To Day
- Develop a robust and integrated market intelligence program to support long term growth strategy, and support high-visibility, strategic projects within the organization.
- Work with global business units to create a strategic annual research agenda to maximize the efficiency of research delivered to their business units.
- Manage and grow the market intelligence sources used to create the market landscapes and other tools to help identify threats and opportunities. Manage vendor relationships related to data and budget for annual subscriptions.
- Accountable for maintaining an overview of key markets served including size, participants, share, segmentation, growth rate, key trends, etc. as a basis for strategic planning, commercial decision making, innovation, and business & product development.
- Working closely with our competitor insights analysts to deliver competitor information including markets and geographies served, product portfolio offered, pricing, relevant current events, market positioning.
- Develop and deliver market intelligence presentations that advise the global business units and other key stakeholders with strategic recommendations on how to improve the market position of DLL to support data-driven decision making.
- Perform market research to support the marketing organization in improving the effectiveness of marketing programs / campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements in market research methodologies, data analytics, and visualization tools. Implement and leverage appropriate technologies to enhance research and analysis capabilities (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence)

Essentials
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Analytics or related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of which 2 years’ experience in Market Research (consulting).
- Excellent research, analytical and reporting skills with an ability to rapidly synthesize data into insights and provide advice to senior management.
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and insights with others, to drive measurable impacts.
- A demonstrated track record of working effectively in a collaborative organization.
- Advanced ability to prioritize and manage time on potentially multiple projects at once.
- Effective participation in meetings with business leadership and customers.
- Strategic planning and / or competitive intelligence experience a plus.
