Senior Interior Designer

Description:

The Senior Interior Designer is involved in all phases of a design project which includes the design of new build or refurbishment projects, including FF&E and colour schemes. Designs and feasibility studies are produced for commercial, hospitality, leisure, and residential projects. The senior designer oversees the project from beginning to end being the main contact for all correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize the design of several project types across various settings including hospitality, private residences, office spaces, retail locations, and leisure spaces.
• Develop design concepts, initial design ideas, and conceptual frameworks, and deliver all phases as per project contract requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team and coordinate with other stakeholders throughout all project stages.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM or other relevant software.
• Source products and manage budgets and procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other design professionals.
• Mentor and lead junior and intermediate designers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• A true expert in luxury hospitality industry
• At least ten years of senior-level experience managing people and resources.
• Extensive knowledge of the design industry and financial management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
