What the job looks like :
- Conduct Due Diligence on Investments: Research and analyze existing funds and potential new investments to assess their suitability, considering performance metrics, risk profiles, and management expertise.
- Assist in Portfolio Construction:Collaborate with portfolio managers to construct and adjust portfolios, utilizing quantitative analysis and qualitative assessments to optimize asset allocation and diversification.
- Execute Trades: Work closely with portfolio managers to plan and execute trades across various asset classes and investment vehicles, ensuring alignment with investment strategies and market conditions.
- Monitor Performance of Underlying Managers: Regularly monitor the performance of underlying managers within fund portfolios, evaluating key performance indicators, investment thesis alignment, and adherence to risk parameters.
- Support Monthly Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly performance reports and positioning summaries, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare Documentation for Meetings and Launches: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prepare documentation for fund launches, investment committees, and board meetings, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
What our client is looking for :
- 2-4 years investment management experience in Ireland/Europe
- Fixed income experience and asset mgt experience a distinct advantage.
- Experience with financial markets and investments.
- Must be currently based in Ireland with an irish/European passport or Stamp 4/4G visa - NON NEGOTIABLE
