Description:
Develops strategic plans & implement the objectives of the IT needs of the company to ensure the IT & IS systems, policies and procedures are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and financial objectives and regulatory obligations;
Ensures that systems, applications and software packages operate to meet business requirements needs on a daily basis;
Works with group colleagues and local colleagues to align technology, data, info sec, applications and infrastructure architecture with the strategy and goals of the business;
Works closely with operations management to understand business and project goals and to ensure business as usual services are maintained in line with service level agreements;
Provides oversight and management of external IT vendors
Monitors management of all hardware (including cloud technology), software, databases and licenses, maintenance, access control and projections of future needs;
Leads information security control management and governance, major incident reporting, risk assessments and controls certifications. Leads and support audits;
Defines technological strategies and ensure that processes meet regulatory requirements, from business continuity and disaster recovery to data protection;
Manages incidents/outages to ensure business impact is kept to a minimum, directs the response plan and co-ordinates supplier engagement;
Ensures comprehensive and documented incident management procedures are in place and undertakes a regular incident management programme;
Identifies and deploys improvements and new functionality to be incorporated into systems, including new product compatibility;
A minimum of 8-10 years of related technical and business experience;
Knowledge of IT computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations. Experience with implementation of information technology integrations;
Experience of business process development, management, budgeting, business systems and IT operations;
Vendor management and negotiations experience in the development of effective external partnerships;
Proven capability to manage projects within tight timeframes and to simultaneously manage several projects;
Strong InfoSec experience as it relates to securing networks, devices and data;
Strong customer focus, ensuring that our IT solutions are resilient and meet the needs of a customer base that is complex and diversified;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, in both technical and business language;
Experience in working in the Payments, Banking or Fintech sector would be considered a great advantage;
In-depth experience in Data Security, Privacy and Protection, ideally in a FinTech or payment related industry an advantage
Experience in deploying and managing standard certification frameworks (including PCI DSS, ISO 27k) an advantage
