Description:

BMS External Manufacturing is looking to recruit on a permanent Contract Senior Manager, Finance reporting to Director, Finance to partner and provide financial support to the GPS Ireland Operations.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of strategic and operational financial information, reporting and control systems including:
 

• Providing financial leadership and staff management
• Month end reporting and compliance to strict corporate deadlines
• Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets , treasury, and general ledger accounting
• Pension accounting
• Anticipate, identify, monitor, and manage applicable enterprise risks in collaboration with the Business Controls Function ensuring adherence with all corporate policy directives.
• External Statutory reporting and external and internal audit management
• Support business goals with reporting, forecasting, and transactional process excellence
• Financial forecasting and budget preparation, cash flow
   

The successful candidate will o perate as the key link with Global Corporate Financial Reporting and will also develop key business relationships with global finance teams including the Pension Group, Intercompany team, BFS (Business & Financial Services), Procurement. The Finance Manager will also manage and develop the FSS Team and optimise efficiencies through the identification of OPEX opportunities.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Required

The successful candidate will possess a professional accountancy qualification and will have between 5-7 years PQE coupled with excellent financial control experience and a highly developed technical accounting acumen. In addition, we require an in-depth knowledge of OTC and PTP practices and SAP.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable people management experience.
