Senior Medical Scientist Cryobiology

Description:

To be part of the Senior Management Team in the Cryobiology Laboratory. To coordinate and lead the laboratory team and liaise with the clinical and nursing teams in providing Quality Stem Cell products for the National Transplant and CAR T Therapy programme.

To participate in Quality management and drive quality improvements to ensure that the Laboratory meets its regulatory requirements. To undertake an IT systems management role; liaising with IMS, StemSoft, MedLIS and implementation of IT systems in the Laboratory. To undertake Health and Safety role within the Laboratory undertaking or supervising audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
