They are seeking a passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to be a key player in the development and delivery of their services. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with a wide range of disabilities and developmental conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior therapists, offering supervision and support as required.
- Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance care delivery.
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and strategies to support children’s development and independence in their daily activities.
- Manage a varied caseload efficiently, ensuring the best outcomes for each child.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and development of therapy services in the CDNT.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in paediatric or disability services.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare or disability setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
