Description:
Our client is seeking a PaC Consultant with 5 years of experience in the network/security field. MS Azure and PaC experience are a must.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a senior PaC consultant to the client (cloud service provider) for PaC projects.
- Develop an overall PaC framework and a detailed implementation plan, considering the client's business characteristics.
- Take on the role of a consultant, providing comprehensive guidance on key aspects of the PaC pilot landing work.
- Continuously monitor industry best practices in PaC and their adoption within the customer's internal processes.
Professional Knowledge/Skills
- Required Experience:
- Participation in large-scale Security Policy as Code (PaC) projects, either as a PD/PM project manager or with experience in designing, developing, and applying PaC-related tools/products.
- Understanding of cloud computing service provider business models.
- MS Azure experience in PaC is mandatory.
- Other requirements (optional):
In-depth Knowledge Of Security PaC Fundamentals
- Understanding of the concepts, mechanisms, and patterns of Policy as Code.
- Familiarity with industry practices, including PaC-related open-source tools or commercial products (e.g., Open Policy Agent, HashiCorp Sentinel, Chef Inspec, Checkov, Pulumi, and AWS/Azure/GCP cloud-native PaC services), and mastery of their respective functional features and usage scenarios.
- Familiarity with the most typical application scenarios of PaC.
- Basic PaC framework design skills:
- Comprehension of the business model of cloud computing service providers, with the ability to create a comprehensive security PaC framework tailored to cloud business, encompassing the design of organizational structures, specification requirements, tools/services, and other dimensions. Additionally, the ability to plan the landing sequence based on business priorities, maturity, and continuous iteration.
