Senior Product Analyst

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join SSE's IT Product Analysis team to work on and lead the product analysis on our major digital investment programme & support the delivery of a portfolio of high-profile customer-facing initiatives to drive SSE's large-scale transformation. You'll oversee the analysis of IT projects and drive the delivery of business analysis work on multiple simple or individual complex projects in order to regularly achieve cost and timescale targets.

• Analysing and documenting requirements for the subsequent identification of an appropriate solution and the detailed design of a business process to accommodate it.

• Identifying and determining end-to-end business processes using standard methods.

• Presenting business and technical concepts to process owners and business users.

• Identifying and assessing business and IT risk.

• Undertaking responsibility for IT data security by ensuring that rules and practices are identified.

• Preparing succinct reports and communications that are tailored to different audiences.

• Carrying out in depth scoping exercises during the early stages of a work package to identify key issues of concern and to ascertain clear direction.
