Senior Project Engineer

Description:

A multinational innovative pharmaceutical company based in Dublin is hiring for their Irish operation. This organisation has manufacturing and commercial operations and is expanding its project team due to new investments in the site.

The Position

As a Project Engineer, you will be overseeing a portfolio of capital projects across the site, tracking metrics, overseeing key milestones and reporting updates to the leadership team.

You will work within the engineering team onsite to support the delivery of key objectives. Reporting to the Head of Engineering for the business you will liaise closely with the internal operations team to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• All aspects of your allocated projects from documentation issues and review to FAT punch list closeout and project sitework final de-snagging and completion.
• Manage all project metrics and milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead on-site work planning meetings with vendors, suppliers and 3rd parties ensuring all stakeholders are aligned in their expectations and are updated on all timelines and potential risk factors.

The Person

• The successful candidate will have an Engineering Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a project environment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
• Experience delivering projects across a variety of utilities and equipment installations.
• Collaborative approach to work with the ability to influence and guide others.
• Proven skill in drafting documentation aligning to GMP standards (IQ, OQ, PQ,).
