Description:
This is a key role to develop the capabilities around Digital Services Regulation to ensure my client has the required processes and capabilities to carry out the functions required under new EU regulation.
Skills Required -
- Third level qualification in Information Technology, Engineering or Regulation or extensive career experience in relevant IT and business development environments.
- Experienced leading and developing new business operating models and organisational change -
- managing and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- IT standards development, adoption, and compliance, particularly in IT network and information security.
- Demonstrable understanding of security technology and standards, cryptography etc
- Strong communications skills particularly the ability to translate highly technical details for a non-technical audience.
- Presentation skills and experience influencing key decisions of senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in project/programme management and in managing the delivery of complex projects, in an individual and team capacity.
- Ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision for a new operating model, develop a roadmap for change and execute on these through project activities to achieve operational stability.
- Ability to effectively manage own work plans and develop and agree project plans with a range of stakeholders with a strong focus on committed strategic vision.
- Ability to understand and work with highly technical standards for Trust and Identity Services.
Desirable
- Familiarity with the interpretation and implementation of technical standards, the ability to engage with legal advisors to dissect and comply with complex legal texts.
- Experience developing compliance functions and supervisory operating models.
- Experience in IT Auditing or IT Standards Compliance.
