Description:

You will be in charge of looking after a landmark project in the Dublin region. Among the duties involved, you be tasked with preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports. Managing procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations. Overseeing contract administration and handle variations/claims. Monitoring project costs and ensure budget control & leading and mentoring junior staff.

 

 

What Skills You'll Need

Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overheads. Monitor project budgets and manage variations.

Tendering & Bidding: Prepare and submit tenders for electrical works, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with industry standards.

Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all parties adhere to the terms and conditions.

Valuation & Payments: Conduct valuations and manage interim and final payment applications. Ensure timely payment from clients and manage payments to subcontractors.

Cost Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports, forecasting, and financial statements for internal and client review.

Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and manage project risks related to costs and contracts. Propose mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
