Description:
As the Senior Regional Security Manager for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, you will be an integral part of the Security Operations pillar of the ServiceNow Global Safety & Security team. This strategic role reports directly to the VP, Chief Security Officer and oversees the development and execution of a robust regional security program and will be a part of the Global Safety & Security Leadership Team
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage incident/crisis management, physical security operations, Occupational Health & Safety, event security, and regional security management within the EMEA region.
- Develop and implement a robust security operations program and regional emergency response capabilities.
- Create and maintain security plans for special events, ensuring the safety and security of all attendees and minimizing potential risks and threats.
- Tailor security and safety measures to suit the unique needs of the EMEA region, with due consideration to local laws, regulations, and cultural nuances.
- Proactively identify and manage regional risks, deploying appropriate security measures to mitigate potential threats.
- Serve as the regional security subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership to ensure optimized physical security operations.
- Foster strong relationships with local ServiceNow business partners to ensure a cohesive and effective security program.
- Coordinate and respond promptly and effectively to regional incidents, minimizing the impact on the business and its operations.
- Liaison with local law enforcement and public safety entities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a related field. A master’s degree or advanced security management qualifications would be considered advantageous. Relevant field experience will be considered in lieu of these qualifications.
- Minimum ten years of experience in corporate security or a closely related function, with at least five years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse security program across multiple countries.
- Extensive knowledge of regional laws, regulations, and cultural considerations pertaining to security.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management and local teams.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response planning.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or similar certification is preferred, but relevant field experience will be considered in lieu of certification.
- Strong budget and finance experience managing multiple CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
- Strong vendor/supplier management experience and understanding of procurement processes and contracts.
