An exciting new opportunity has come up in our Sales Support team for a Senior Specialist. As a key

member of the team, the role-holder will also work closely with the Area Sales Managers in a number of

core markets to provide pre-sales support and relationship management to external partners and

advisers.

The purpose of the role and key responsibilities are as follows:

› Support the Area Sales Managers to identify and develop strategic business development

opportunities in chosen markets.

› Support the Area Sales Managers to achieve annual sales targets.

› Establish excellent working relationships and maintain regular contact with key partners and advisers.

› Champion a ‘customer first’ approach for our partners and clients. Provide a quality service at all

times and address relevant queries by working closely with the various departments in Utmost.

› Engage in marketing and training initiatives for our distribution partners.

› Ensure that relevant financial market and regulatory and tax knowledge is kept up to date.

› Provide regular internal reports to the Area Sales Managers, Global Head of Sales and Sales Support

Manager to allow tracking of new, pipeline and converted business.

› Through day-to-day work, demonstrate advanced administrative capabilities combined with

excellent communication and relationship management skills.

› Display a flexible, can do attitude where the customer (be that internal or external) is at the centre of

everything that we do.

Key Performance Indicators

Business Development and Sales 

Support the Area Sales Managers

to develop a sales plan and drive

various initiatives to ensure the

delivery of annual sales targets. 

Research develop and propose

new business opportunities. 

Provide support to the Area Sales

Managers and the Sales Support

Manager with the on boarding of

new partners. 

 

Achievement of annual sales targets. 

Delivery of key business development initiatives. 

Successful panelling and on boarding of key partners

in various markets.
