Role Summary:

This role requires the identification, assessment, design, development, implementation and support

of data focused & automated software solutions. In this role, you will support and develop critical

financial applications build on MS SQL servers using .NET and SSIS. Additional deployment and

integration of Power Apps is envisaged as well as participation in Robotic Process Automation &

Intelligent Automation solutions.

 

Role & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall operational support and transformation of CFIL via the

identification and deployment of agreed software/technology and data solutions

• Design, develop and maintain custom applications or configure application systems and

services with a working knowledge of developing and maintaining .Net multi-threaded
windows service

• Write scalable queries that impact millions of records while keeping execution time low
• Build development capability for Power App solutions
• Support development of agreed RPA & IA appropriate opportunities
• Working with the sales and operations teams and other functions (marketing, sales, risk,

compliance, finance, etc…) to determine appropriate technology capabilities, tools and
infrastructure solutions

• Start code review process and improve solutions, in order to improve quality and share

knowledge

• Identify additional, leading-edge and fit for purpose technology & data solutions

Skills & Competencies

• 5+ years of experience in provision of data focused & automated software solutions

• Proficiency with C# and T- SQL

• Hands-on knowledge of ETL solutions using SSIS – including transformations within the SSIS

construct

• Knowledge of performance tuning of SQL queries and ETL routines

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, SVN or similar)

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• DevExpress controls experience would be beneficial but no required
• Azure & Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus

• Knowledge in development methods, best practices, conventions, algorithms, and design

patterns

• Knowledge of scope & impact Power Apps is an advantage

• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation & Intelligent Automation solutions is an

advantage

• Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written is a must. The role will

require written and verbal communications with technical and non-technical cross-functional
teams
