Senior Software Engineer

This Senior Software Engineer role is with a well-established med-tech company in Dublin. They have a strong engineering presence here, as well as their own product, which is used by a lot of big pharmaceutical and medical companies. They've grown a lot since they were founded and are currently going through a small expansion due to their roadmap containing a lot of exciting new products - they need your help!

The Senior Software Engineer position would be within their Growth team, essentially a versatile team that focuses on building and developing new products. With about 10 members currently, the team is often split into smaller sub-teams depending on the needs of the project so a self-starter mentality with a desire to grow is a must. The tech stack they work with is Java (and Kotlin), Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, and SQL Server, among other technologies and tools. A cool aspect of the role is the product ownership piece - they're looking for a Senior profile as their Senior engineers engage with their designers and SMEs to determine the right direction for their new products.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Software Engineer position has more than 6 years of experience with Java (or Kotlin - a big plus) and Springboot, as well as a self-starter mentality and the desire to work in a start-up-ish culture with all the benefits of a well-established company. A desire to grow is absolutely neccessary as you'd be engaging in Product Ownership activities, with the main goal of progressing towards a Staff or Principal role down the line.

Model of work: The company is Dublin-based and they go to the office 2 days / week. They're interested only in candidates with a valid Stamp 4 Visa or EU Citizenship.
