Site Engineer

Description:

Seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our esteemed clients organization, a leading contractor specializing in projects located in Cork. The ideal candidate will possess a background in either commercial or residential construction. Notably, our company boasts a robust portfolio of upcoming projects in the Cork and Munster area, encompassing both commercial and housing developments, with commencement slated for later this year.

Key responsibilities for this Site Engineer Role

• Management of day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals
• Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.
• Setting out -Transferring digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping.
• Preparing work schedules & allocating resources
• You will interface and work with the project team on delivery, engage with the Client, co-ordinate with the civil sub-contractor project management team on site from start-up through to handover.
• Liaising with;
  • Site Admin - Requisitioning of materials and equipment and aiding with the monitoring of on-site machinery and equipment.
  • Commercial team- Measurement revisions
  • Safety Team - Encouraging the use of the Safety Management System

Experience required for this Site Engineer role:

• 2 + years minimum experience in a similar role
• Engineering degree or diploma necessary
• Building industry technical and practical knowledge is crucial.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong Management skills
• Full E.U Driving License
