Social Media Intern

Latin America Solidarity Centre Ireland is a membership-based organisation. We are individuals who share a passion for real social change in Latin America and Ireland, and we believe that peace with justice and equality for all can come only through genuine participation of everyone in society’s decision making. Our office is located in Dublin 7 and we mostly work remotely.

We are looking for a Social Media Intern, interested in volunteering with us for 10 hours a week on a 4 month internship programme. We have a flexible approach to work, so you are welcome to work remotely and to come to the office when required or for LASC events. You will report to LASC Coordinator.

What we would expect from you:

• Support on all the organisation social media accounts and posts content.
• Web content management.
• Brainstorms campaign ideas.
• Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and X.
• Social Media analytics
• Engage creatively and professionally with current and potential followers.

Intern Qualifications / Skills:

• Currently studying or graduated on Communications/ Social media/ digital marketing or similar.
• English and Spanish professional working proficiency is required.
• Wordpress content management.
• Interest and empathy in the work of LASC
