Social Media Policy Escalation Specialist

Our client is looking for a fully remote Social Media Policy Escalation Specialist to join their High Priority Escalations Team. You will need 5+ years of experience dealing with high priority escalations related to policy including experience working for a tech company such as Meta, TikTok, Google or similar.

In this role, you will be using various internal tools for escalations management and adapting to changing requirements and scope on escalations and prioritizing requests effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve urgent escalations throughout the suite of platform applications, encompassing issues related to sensitive content and advertisements.
• Apply an understanding of and uphold the platform's terms of service, community standards, advertiser and commerce policies, as well as product-specific guidelines.
• Leverage internal tools for managing escalations and devise innovative solutions under high-pressure escalation scenarios.
• Collaborate within a 24/7 team, participating in on-call shifts that involve rotational weekends and after-hours work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience dealing with high priority escalations related to policy for a tech company
• Experience making judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities
• Experience with analytical tools (like Excel or SQL) to drive analytics and operational decision making nice to have.
• Availability to do shift work if required.
