Software Developer

Description:

The position is based in Dublin, Ireland and requires the developer to work on-site from Monday to Friday. Therefore, if you are not currently located in this area, relocation is necessary.

Your duties and responsibilities will entail:

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications specifically tailored to the needs of civil engineering projects. This may involve creating new software from scratch or modifying existing software to meet project requirements.

Modelling Simulation: Use software tools and programming languages to develop software related to civil engineering projects, to assist with accurate structural analysis.

Algorithm Development: Develop algorithms and computational methods to solve complex engineering problems efficiently. This may involve implementing mathematical models, optimization techniques, or numerical methods to address specific engineering challenges.

Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyze and interpret data from civil engineering projects using programming languages and statistical tools. Develop mathematical outputs with visualizations and reports to effectively communicate the results to project stakeholders.

Software Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and debugging of software applications to ensure they meet the desired functionality, performance, and quality standards. Identify and fix software bugs or issues as they arise. Use of GIT version control to manage source code.

The education and skills required for this role that you will bring:

BEng (Civil Engineering) Degree
2+ years experience in software development in C#, C++ and good understanding of Delphi will be advantageous
Excellent communication skills in English
