Software Engineering Lead

As the Software Engineering Lead, you will oversee and guide a team of software developers, manage sprints, and engage in high-level planning and design. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
 

• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Mentoring and/or train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.
• Managing and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations
• Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility
   

Requirements
 

• Have experience of proficient coding skills in Java, Spring Boot, Docker
• Be able to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
• Have experience of Cloud Platforms AWS, Azure or GCP, experience with container management is a plus.
• Have experience of managing Software Engineering teams, 121, upskilling and managing conflict.
• Be able to collaborate, support and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
• Be able to design and work with complex data models.
• Have experience of High-Level Planning and running sprints.
