The Global RISE Cloud Advisory Team is part of SAP’s Customer Success organization. This is a supporting role within the Global RISE Technical Excellence Team that focusses on Automation and Tooling for the RISE Cloud Advisory functions. The successful application will understand the requirements, design, build, test, and maintain tools, which will support the Cloud Architects and Global Adoption Advisors in their day-to-day function. The candidate must be prepared to operate under pressure and function in an agile environment with changing requirements.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

This role is primarily internal, with internal team facing activities to support strategic tools.

Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:

  • Translating user requirements into technical specification.
  • Design solutions to meet user requirements as specified and jointly prepare detailed design documentation, testing and sign-off, in alignment with other members of the team.
  • Create and maintain testing processes.
  • Support de-escalations and troubleshooting across any aspect of the tools provided in the team.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Maintain environment by adhering to security standards and information policies.
  • Perform daily maintenance on platforms.
  • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc releases.
  • Ensure coding according to SAP Best Practices and Standards.

Education And Qualifications / Skills And Competencies

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
  • High proficiency in customer & executive communications and presentations is required
  • High proficiency in the SAP BTP portfolio.
  • Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
  • Background in software design and requirements analysis
  • Fluency in English is a MUST, any other language an asset.
