Description:
As Sponsorship Manager for SSE Energy Customer Solutions (SSE Airtricity in Ireland / NI and SSE Energy Solutions in GB), you will work within the wider Brand Team and will be responsible for the overall sponsorship strategy for these brands. This role will work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure our partnerships deliver against overall marketing KPIs. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of key tasks to ensure effective sponsorship-led brand communication and customer engagement.
- Develop and execute integrated sponsorship-led brand and tactical campaigns to increase awareness, consideration and positive sentiment for SSE Energy Customer Solutions. This will include planning, briefing, approvals and delivery of all related creative, copy, content development requirements across the full media channel mix.
- Be responsible for the ongoing development and execution of SSE Energy Customer Solutions’ sponsorship strategy; continually reviewing in line with market changes to ensure that we remain commercially focused, delivering on our brand vision and achieving standout differentiation through our partnerships.
- Take ownership of the portfolio of SSE Energy Customer Solutions’ sponsorship assets in NI / Ireland and GB to deliver brand awareness, consideration and build our brand reputation as a leader in driving Net Zero.
- Manage key relationships, working closely with 3rd party agencies and other internal teams. This includes Creative, Media, PR, Rightsholders, Activation Agencies, Procurement, etc to ensure that all campaigns are integrated and deliver against KPIs (includes awareness, consideration and lead generation), budget, and delivery timelines.
- Analyse competitive market research, customer trends and implement best practice to ensure brand relevance and best-in-class, award winning execution.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing integrated sponsorship-led brand and tactical campaigns from concept to delivery across the full media mix.
- Competency in marketing performance management, on-going campaign optimisation and the ability to execute new ideas and innovate existing marketing strategies.
- A background managing multiple stakeholders including Rightsholders, Creative, Media, PR, and Activation Agencies.
- Prior experience of running integrated sponsorship programmes and the ability to run sizeable projects and work streams, with accompanying budget responsibility.
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrable understanding of sponsorship value, and it’s contribution to commercial performance.
- Leadership and team management capabilities to develop a strong interdisciplinary team to deliver brilliantly across creative and campaign management, media management and campaign performance.
