What you will do:
- Conduct research and analysis in Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification and adjacent topics such as Privacy and Insider Risk.
- Respond to client questions and deliver high quality actionable advice through a variety of media.
- Write high quality, clear, actionable, advisory research documents focused on Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification Strategies, Tools, and Policies.
- Predict how Data Loss Prevention markets are developing, help clients in their selection process and provide feedback to vendors on emerging trends in buyer needs.
- Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas, through peer collaboration from the data security team.
- Proactively work with the wider sales organization and deliver outstanding sales support in order to retain and grow the business.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 8-10 years of relevant field or industry experience in a research, technology, or compliance related role
- Subject matter familiarity in data security with the ability to demonstrate understanding of the business and compliance benefits and emerging technologies in that market.
- Help us see the future & be creative. You must be a lifelong learner with foundational knowledge and experience in Data Security and Cybersecurity in general.
- An understanding of data security concepts and markets, including Data Loss Prevention, Data Classification, Data Security Policies.
- Familiarity with the Data Loss Prevention capabilities of vendors like Microsoft, Symantec, Forcepoint, Netskope, Zscaler
- Familiarity with data security considerations for cloud, SaaS and on-premises environments
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
