Sr Process Piping Designer

Description:

Experienced Lead, with dynamic skill sets to field check / field gather, scope develop, and coordinate multidiscipline design activities with clients across Ireland and North America.

Piping Design Lead works with within multi-discipline project teams in Ireland and North America to assist in the preparation of design documents and drawings for the execution of industrial projects.

This full time leadership role, largely from within office, will have opportunity for travel with incentives to build successful project teams. Leadership and Conformance within all Waterman Tecsar QAQC, and regulatory jurisdictions is a fundamental requirement for success

Duties will include

· Preparing engineering documents including: Scopes of work, Design and Engineering Estimates, Piping & Instrument Drawings (P&IDs), Isometric Drawings, Plot Plans and Piping Layouts using CAD software.

· Preparing engineering design packages

· Assist with preparation of Line Lists, Tie Point Schedules and Bill of Materials

· Conforming to client and company standards when carrying out design tasks

Requirements

· Experience with 3D modelling and point cloud scans is a fundamental requirement

· Graduate of a Piping Mechanical Technology program

· Proficiency in AutoCAD

· Proven high level ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

· Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment.
