Description:
Supply Chain Demand Planner is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based client. The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for end-to-end Planning in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Suppliers. You will need to demonstrate operational and strategic knowledge related to supply planning and inventory management. Strong Project Management skills is required in managing supply chain complexity and possess the ability to juggle multiple aspects of the job to drive key requirements and objectives.
Role of this position
- Responsible for planning multiple product categories including performing various tasks related to specific Sales regions
- Develop and execute supply plans, aggregate demand plans, risk buys and inventory plans. Perform thorough global analysis of inventory levels, make recommendations for action to cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and achieve revenue goals.
- Proactively work with the Sales/Marketing teams to anticipate supply constraints. Provide guidance to Sales/Marketing for promotional planning with regards to SKU recommendations, stock exposure and promotional timing to optimize revenue results.
- As a core NPI team member, proactively anticipate and identify risk to new product launch. Drive awareness and articulate possible scenarios affecting all stakeholders. Establish metrics and communication plans with Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS Degree or its equivalent in relevant area - Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, etc.; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain (with supply and/or demand planning functions) for consumer electronics industry (preferred) or similar industry
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals, teams and management level.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, work under pressure and deal with shifting priorities/workloads to meet strict deadlines and with limited information.
