Supply Chain Manager

 

Description:

As the Manager of Product Supply Planning, you will have comprehensive responsibility for overseeing the entire supply chain process, focusing on mid to long-term planning for a range of global products across our worldwide network of manufacturing facilities. Your primary goal is to ensure exceptional customer service by effectively managing the global supply of these products. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the key owner of the supply chain for these product lines and collaborate closely with our Commercial, Demand Planning, and Operations teams to optimize supply chain performance. Acting as the primary liaison for a critical product family, you will play a leadership role in our global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Commercial, Product Management, and Demand Planning teams to translate strategic supply plans into actionable operational supply plans across our global manufacturing network.

• Execute inventory strategies and models for complex global supply chain networks (including make to stock, make to finish, and make to order) and ensure alignment with recommendations.

• Ensure the execution of stocking and planning levels for the network, in accordance with our financial objectives.

• Establish product supply across the global network for your product(s), while considering policy guidance, life cycle management, technical transfers, network optimizations, and potential supply disruptions.

• Identify and propose future customer pathways for product manufacturing.

• Drive necessary adjustments to production plans at manufacturing sites to accommodate forecast changes and align inventory with our strategies; develop measurement systems to track performance.

• Collaborate with relevant functions to develop risk and contingency strategies and plans for our supply chain network, actively driving mitigation plans.

• Provide support during large-scale global crises, supply disruptions, or allocation issues, and monitor volumes; partner with the Supply Execution team as needed.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for degrees in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or relevant experience.

• Minimum of 8-10 years of supply chain experience, with a preference for experience in global supply planning and/or site/manufacturing operations.

• Experience with Long-Range Planning (LRP), Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and New Product Introduction.

• Solid understanding of supply planning principles and a demonstrated ability to implement processes and manage change effectively.

• Knowledge of ERP systems with a strong understanding of financial, material, and supply flows.
