Description:
Reporting to the Head of Innovation, the Sustainability Lead will be responsible for leading & delivering the company's Sustainability Strategy & Goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross functional teams in delivering the company’s Sustainability Targets
- Promote and manage the strategic sustainability agenda with customers and key external advisors
- Analyse and report on global sustainability developments at commercial, consumer and policy level, including analysis of sustainability programs
- Prepare and manage all sustainability reports including the Origin Green Report and CSR
- Input into the business marketing strategy and champion the sustainability pillar
- Introduce Biodiversity and environmental initiatives at site level
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a technical background suited to the complexities of the food sector with a minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar sustainability role
- Sustainability related Degree or equivalent required
- Competence in reporting systems, project management and regulatory compliance
- Strong people engagement skills
- Proven project management capabilities
- Strong record of delivering results to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Strategic thinker with ability to analyse sustainability topics relevant to our business
